Why not? Make today the day you stop smoking, or start working out, or call an old long lost friend, or start eating healthy, or start being nice to strangers, or write down your goals for the year that you plan to accomplish, or call your mom, bury a grudge, make dinner for your wife, say please and thank you to people around you, just make it the best day ever because you never know this just might be your last day.
